Celebrate summer with a challenging and scenic hike to Maryland Heights, overlooking the historic town of Harper’s Ferry and the Potomac River. This 4.5-mile trail features 1,079 feet of elevation gain and rewards hikers with stunning views and spiritual renewal.
Love GOD, Love PEOPLE! I LOVE to dance, and through that, God has allowed me to share my talent and passion with others! I have enjoyed teaching Zumba, Zumba kids, and being a trainer for Body and Soul Fitness. I have no doubt that God led me to serve here at The Right Weigh… God’s Way.
It brings me such great joy to be able to combine the three things I love: Jesus, people, and dance! This amazing class and Bible study is ANOTHER fabulous way that we can come together and encourage one another and build each other up as we grow closer to Jesus! Side note: I have three very awesome children who keep me on the go and a husband who keeps me focused and loved!

Looking back on my life to this point, I can see how God was using my experiences (good and bad) and helping me to prepare for my journey within The Right Weigh… God’s Way. I consider myself blessed to have grown up in “the church” and have known the gospel of Jesus for what feels like my whole life. Over the past 18 years, God has been building upon the foundation of biblical knowledge and teachings I have experienced in my life and calling me to dig deeper. I took an Inductive bible study class with Billy Walsh & Larry Patin that introduced me to invaluable study tools, and that was a game-changer!
This has ignited a passion in me to help and teach women the TRUE words of God in hopes that they, too, would know HIM more. I’m so excited to be on this journey with you all and so blessed and humbled to be working for God’s kingdom.”
I’m a wife, mother of three, and grandmother to two. I have a personal relationship with Christ and want other women to do the same. Knowing Christ and His word has changed my life. I never needed to wonder who I am or where my validation comes from. I know it is from Him!
I have been in the fitness world for 40 years. Starting with dance at the age of 9 and strength training at the age of 17, I have taken my passion for God, women, and fitness and founded The Right Weigh… God’s Way in 2011!
TRWGW was inspired while I was reading 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore, honor God with your body.”
Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit! It is where God lives. I decided I needed to do a better job with how I was feeding my mind, body, and Spirit. I also wanted to help other women do the same.
It is my true passion to see women create vibrant lives for Christ so they can go out and serve others in love. Inspiring women to strengthen their mental, physical, and spiritual foundations is how we are achieving the vision. Through encouragement, exercise, and studying the word of God, we can transform the way we see and feel about ourselves.
Certified through ACE in personal training and weight management, and with continuing education, I have been able to use my gifts, talents, and attributes to encourage women to be the best they can be.
